Trail camera is going nuts.

I am sitting here looking out the window watching my trail camera going berzerk on a nice little forky. I think it is the one i shot and grazed the bottom of his chest. He is standing 7 feet in front of the camera going bonkers on the deer block and some apples i dumped out. Last night it was 12 degrees out here so i am sure he will be nibbling for awhile. Looks like i will be getting a few more deer blocks to put out.

Anyway you can expect some cool pictures sometime tomorrow. This is so cool, sitting here counting the flashes. I can only make out his rack through the binos when the flash hits him.

You should point the detour sign to your freezer, maybe he will just jump in. Sure it is warmer in the freezer than outside.

And a few more! Thats the last of him today. I took the liberty of moving the detour sign from the neighbors junk pile. He has ten acres of "I am going to store all my priceless treasure" next to me. Thankfully he does not live up here or he might have more junk up here.

What do you all think? Will he get better next year or not. Looks like he has a stout body. Hope he is just a fat young buck and not one of those bucks that just will not grow a big rack . Would sure like to see him sprout a giant rack.

If you look real close on the back of his left leg you can see where my arrow grazed it. Kind of glad I missed. He needs to grow up a bit.

Wow!!  I'd say you missed...LOL!!  Cant even call that one close You can tell he is young...He's going to be huge, if he can keep the wieght on all winter.

The maximum flash distance for my TC is 15 feet at night. So my feed pile is less than that. Probably between ten and 12 feet. I get lots of pictures of birds too. Mostly the little Dark Eyed Junkos.
