Nicely done. Filled my tag on the early hunt this year. I am stuck goose hunting from here on out. What a strange feeling, I am usually out treking around this time of year.

Hey, hey-
Thought I would chime in here with my "late archery season" success.

This was one of my toughest years ever. Partly due to the fact that my Son just presented me with my 1st grandson so I spent the 1st 2 weeks of the late season with them in Idaho. It was great to see my grandson but it was sure killing me to sit in the house and BS while the rut was on. Now I'm on my way back to Idaho for Christmas with my son and his family so I don't have a chance at the last 10 days.
Since I only had a few days to hunt, I finally gave in and stuck a BT doe, man I'm disappointed, out of 30+ deer I've harvested this is only the 2nd doe I've had to shoot. You just don't get that same level of adrenaline
Don't get me wrong I'm happy to have the meat, in fact I have a load of Jerky going as I type.
Hopfully I'll get back in the groove next year...

Good pics, I haven't been out to where I bow hunt for about 2 weeks, weather has been bad, rain and 30+ mph winds and the deer do not move. Plan to hunt most of this coming week since I am off for Christmas. Our bow season doesn't end until the end of Jan so I have plenty of time to finish filling the freezer.
