I'm planning on hitting Teanaway because I have a warm, dry cabin there.  Don't know where to find elk but at least I'll get a good night's sleep. :)

I'm not camping this trip but will stop by D Rock to say hi. My partner from last year and I are staying at the Naches motel since we're only able to hunt a couple days.
Drenalinjunkie, are ya camping with Kyle and Rick off the 1601 or where?

Right now, nowhere! Pass is closed. Planned to get over today to place treestand for Wednesday's opener. Sitting in line with everyone else waiting to go again :(

after 30yrs of gun hunting, I switched to bow this year, and still don't really have a hunting partner, or know much places around here to go, but I've been able to get out and scout a little, earlier, so I'm gonna try a couple of small sections of land in SKC (454).

Where ever there are deer I will be there  :tup: Only problem I have right now is that late muzzy elk opens on the same day of archery deer ..So I may need to take the 1st day and chase elk one more time ..Now we had a frost and knocked all the leaves off I may get a chance to see them this time .... :archery_smiley: :hunter: :brew:

They put closed signs over Chinook Pass on the traffic signs in Puyallup and Buckley.  Usually not a good sign.

Down on the ranch property along the Nooksack river 407 seen a few nice Bucks over the last few weeks and Wednesday cannot come
   soon enough, Backstraps for Thanksgiving would be a true blessing!

I'm probably going...to sleep in the truck while the wife hunts :chuckle:  Don't want to shoot a stupid cow and ruin her fun.  Although if I wake up and one is outside asking to get shot... :dunno:
