I was hoping that he would make it to next year and that I would get the foothills tag again.  I'm pretty sure there will be a bunch of off spring running around for sometime with his genetics.  That buck sure kept a bunch of does close by!  Old man Bob will be happy to hear that the legend is down for the count.  He sure didn't like the attention the he brought to the area!

I heard there is another one though, most likely his offspring.

I've heard the same.

Yours could be an offspring too?  When we saw him 2 years ago, he had 2 drop tines on one side and 1 on the other.  Everything else looked like this one, junk here and there.  We saw one of his kids taken that same year, but very young.  When we last saw him, he was holding 15 - 20 does in his court.  There will be more like him over the next few years!  Good job!

I've seen 4 and know of 5 total sheds. None of which had a drop on the left side except this year.
 This was him last year.

Nice to have the pics from last year.  My bad, as I know the sheds from the buck that I am speaking of we're picked up this spring.  Still packing the double and single drops then.  Yours is definitely a different buck, but very much from the same general gene pool and area.

What day did you kill him?  11/10 was the last night I had him on my camera.

Holy moly!  None of my bucks have that many antler points.  He must be taking performance enhancements.  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Stud buck congrats dude way to get the masher next to some spuds, ,pun intended!

Hopefully a stud like that was taking Viagra to keep all the ladies happy!

Yes I would shoot that over a 180" typical muley!  :chuckle:

How can a deer change from the last live picture to thus in one year?

Sure its not an offspring of his?  :dunno:
