Trail Cam Photos - Primos Ultra 35

In preparation for the late muzzleloader season, which opens next week on Thanksgiving, I put up a camera, along with a pile of apples, in a spot I hadn't hunted for a couple years. I put it up last Sunday afternoon, and when I checked it at 9:00 this morning, it had 2,260 pictures. This camera doesn't take the best pictures, but it sure takes a lot!

Good luck with that 3, hopefully he will come out during shooting hours. You probably have a little room in the freezer for him.

Yes, plenty of room in the freezer, and I hope to entice him out a little early with some doe in heat scent.

Got some more pictures of the same buck. I think he's a good one to set my sights on for next year. I need to find where he hangs out during the daytime though, and get a tree stand or a blind in there. It's not doing me much good at this location where he never shows himself except when it's dark.

Nice buck.

Need more cams a short distance away and try to track is coming and going in preparation for shed hunting. Then camera bomb the area in the spring.

Maybe he heard the camera? Elk can hear mine, I got a lot of pics, you can see them notice the cam, then they come in for some close ups!

That camera is really quiet. I've never heard it make a sound. Not that a deer couldn't hear it, but I've had deer spend hours in front of it and it never seems to bother them at all. That buck was there for about a half hour so if he was hearing it you'd think he would've been spooked sooner. The doe showed up just a minute or two after he took off, so I figured he heard the doe coming and didn't know that what he heard was a deer. Apparently he's entirely done with the rut!
