Found - Spent Shells!
« on: November 28, 2014, 01:03:08 PM »
To the party shooting at Telegraph Slough yesterday! On my way out I found dozens of spent shells in both blinds. I assume you intended to collect your shells and cigarette butts but overlooked them on the way out. DON'T WORRY! Neither of them are biodegradable so they were still there this morning! I collected them and can return them to you if you can describe them! I'll need cigarette brand(s) for the butts and shot size for the shells. I know you must be kicking yourself for leaving them behind, so I hope you read this and we can make it right!

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm here?  :chuckle:

If the owner shows up to claim them, don't use any KY jelly when you give them back.

Hunted that spot for 10+ years. There are some real sheet bags that frequent it now. There is trash all the way out to the bay. My buddies and I built the blind out  on the point in 98 and kept it clean every year. I will not go back. The warden needs to make the walk out the dike and catch these turds tearing the place up. :bash: :bash:

I used to love hunting the slough, my dad took us out there every weekend when we were young. Now, I haven't hunted it in about 5 years because every time I go out there I am disappointed with other hunters, and amazed at how many people are there. Good on you for picking them up, I sure wish wardens would write littering tickets, or just plain old "your a *censored* bag" tickets..
