What a cool story. You're a good dad!

I'd say that is indeed one of the best trophy animals I've seen posted this season.

HUGE thank you to Lokidog for spinning my pictures. Big let down last night after writing story then posting and seeing sideways pictures. Thanks again!

I will try to post video, but you all see how I post pictures. I'll have to crop it for sure as its 9 min of nothing and 15 seconds of excitement. Plus I need to see if I can zoom it in so you can actually see the animals.

Thanks much for all the comments as it was for sure a proud moment with my daughter.

Love it!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Best story of the week!  Way to go!

Do you mind telling us how old your daughter is?  mine is 7 and wants to hunt so bad she can taste it.  I told her we'd talk about taking hunters ed when she turns 9.

Congrats to the little huntress on her first elk, super nice trophy!  :whoo:

And to do it with a .243 that's awesome. :hunter:

I worked for hours last night trying to shrink down gopro video with no success yet. I'll hopefully get it figured out tonight and post it along with answers to a few of your questions. Thanks
