The only thing I bought- 10x42 Vortex Viper binoculars. Best binos I've ever owned.
I love mine too.

That reminds me, I did add Leica Ultravid 7x42 HD Binoculars.  Ended up being even better than I expected.  Mmm Bye-Bye Swaro!!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Best piece of gear this year was my Bighorn muzzleloader. It gave me a lot more flexibility hunting around all my wife's medical appointments. Plus it just fun to see flames and clouds of smoke.
There is no greater respect to have for wildlife than to harvest an animal fairly and use it's flesh to feed your family.  ~me

Ok so borrowed gear doesnt really count so gear I added that is actually mine?
I picked up some more Sitka gear, a flash 20 pack would have to lead as the best piece!

Hats off to the folks who are buying new trucks to make them better hunters.

I think my new truck will make me less successful because I'll be afraid to take it on most of my favorite roads   :chuckle:

Got a 2001 Toyota Tacoma. And a new pair of the Cabelas Alaskan guide pants, haven't really had a good rainy day in them yet, but I like them so far.
