Are they even open anymore?  I rented a cabin there years ago and was thinking about heading over there again, but came up "blanked" in the internet.

Are you talking about Hard Rain Café?  I know they were still around last summer/fall.

Thinking of the Hoh River Resort I guess.
I think you can get a cabin at Kalaloch.  Not much of a drive to the Hoh from there, just don't have gas anymore.  Or might try the hostel near the resort.

Its closed for good.

The family that they sold/rented the store too, screwed them over pretty good and they could never recover.

Rob and his wife are still doing shuttles tho.

Is rob doing drift boat shuttles?  As in turn around service for your truck and trailer?   If so do you have a number and are they trustworthy people?

I hunted the Upper Hoh with some friends back around 1974 or 5 and we stayed at the cabins there by the store. I think the guy's name that owned it at the time was Gene. :dunno: Can't remember his last name. One of the guys shot a coyote that had been around a skunk and Gene got all fired up cuz it was on the porch of the cabin and stinkin pretty good! :yike: Don't ask me why we put it there. One of the guys ended up getting a spike so it was a good trip.
