Blind leases?
« on: January 25, 2015, 11:42:45 AM »
I have knocked on doors in the Snoqualmie valley for 2 years now and have had no luck gaining access to any property. Does anyone on HuntWA know of any blind leases in Western Washington that are reasonably priced? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

westside

Bump. I know a lot of guy don't care for pay to play clubs but hunting public land in the valley isn't enjoyable anymore.

What's a 'reasonable' price? It's not just that folks don't care for super expensive leases, if there is something reasonable out there I don't know anyone that's willing to draw more attention to it via internet. You know, 'The first rule of fight club is don't talk about fight club.'

Anything that I've come across so far, isn't close close to being called reasonable $2500 on the low end. It's looking like I'll have to go another route this nest year.

That was for a duck club with 5-10 members.

$2,500 is reasonable.  Most I see that are good shooting clubs are more than $2,500.  $5k is the average up to $10k per season in that area.  You want less you travel a bit further or get on a waiting list.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I'll have to give that technique a go. The problem I've been running into is the people who are moving into the valley and buying property aren't always very welcoming to hunters.
