It was a good season and I finished it with a nice Pintail.

Wow, cool ruddy. I never hear much of these birds being taken in our state

The only place I have seen them in WA was in the Sun Lakes chain.  I shot a beautiful drake in So Cal back in the 80's with my muzzleloader, not sure why I didn't even think about getting him mounted.   :(

seen a lot of ruddys on the Columbia last few days of last season. Cool looking little birds

Lots of Ruddy ducks down here in Cali right now.  You could get a limit of them every day if you walked the flooded ponds.  They just get up, fly past you and go to the other end.   Tough little buggers though...
