Searun,
No there is no beginner classes. There are age groups and shooting style divisions.

Sporting Clays will be going on March 15 so the members range will be closed Sunday until that is over.   Also keep in mind trap and skeet will be avl. Sunday until 16:00

Not sure of all the differences but I know because I have a 7 pin sight I have to go Freestyle, my wife has a 5 pin and gets to do Bowhunter Freestyle.  Movable 1 pin sights are freestyle also.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Rainier, at  our shoots you can have as many pins as you like and still stay BHFS. But yes, if your pins are move able then you are Freestyle.

I didn't have to give up my 70lbs 7pin bow and go to a 47pound 5 pin bow?  Dang it.  Oh well now I have a dedicated hunting bow and a target bow that feels the same except the poundage.

Is it just make up the rules per club or what? I guess I need to start asking more questions at registration for these things.  I am new to the archery shoots but absolutely love them.

I really like the marked shoots, they are best for me, if I know the yardage I am spot on.  That is why I never take a shot hunting unless I know the yardage.
