looks like there may be a spot right in front on the brisket area. looks like he shot him in the throat.

I have seen blacktails colored like that including one that looked like an appaloosa with white butt with dark spots up near Cougar. Tried to get pictures, but they were to far away for the camera I had.. This was about 10 years ago.
That is one awesome looking deer though.

Ive seen about a dozen of them alive through the years. My wife killed a fork last year that I will be doing a lifesize on. They are neat looking critters! That is a beautiful buck!!

Bet that one came from the north east. They have a few deer with that gean witch produces that coloration. I saw a doe that looked like that in Pennsylvania in the 80's. Cool pic's!

saw a doe by conconully spotted like that once.....also saw a doe with white ears by green lake. Interesting stuff

I saw a piebald while out in the woods this year. First one I've ever seen alive. Was pretty neat. Didn't have my camera because I was shooting my rifle to sight it in. Didn't expect to see any deer.

It's a recessive genetic defect, and I've seen quite a few of them on Whidbey Island. I guess that the confined breeding population on the island causes the condition to be more prevalent. Anyway, if you want a good chance at seeing one, check out W.I. in the spring.
