That's one heck of a good start antlerking! With time spent like that I'm sure you'll come across some more big boys.

Nice Blackie ridge roamer

Total for 2015 so far. Its been kinda slow but hopefully the stash will grow. Been focusing on 4500 feet in elevation or more the bucks are scattered!!!
Pretty damn impressive! Last spring bear I saw a guys truck with personal license plates that had something to do with antler hunting or antler king.  Was this your truck?  The guy seemed to be hard core, had a small tent up in the wilderness.  Nice haul either way!

do you have a lot of time off in the winters for this hobby?

Hike Fri. Sat. and some Sund. I usually put in all day hike I take off 2 hours in the dark and hike in were I need to go and then hike out in the dark.

Picked this up today. Was checking my trail cam, and on the way out, I looked down and there it lay. It's not from this year, has some moss on it.

The bucks are spread out all over and were not concentrated this year (kinda last year). We have been finding sheds from the columbia river all the way up to 4500' +

Disclaimer -- I don't know what I am doing.

I thought that most deer dropped in Jan? Is this a area by area thing or do different species of deer drop and different times?  Went out first time ever last weekend and figured for deer I was late to the party. We saw around 40 deer none with antlers.

Also I am thing Elk drop more towards March?

Any info appreciated I am just wanting to learn, plus I can look for Turkeys while I shed hunt to improve the odds in a few months.
In God we trust, all others bring cash.

Do not say, Why were the old days better than these? For it is not wise to ask such questions.
