My dad and brother and I went over the mountain to Cook Canyon Hunting Club to work the dogs.
Mainly we just went to work my dad and brother's dogs. They both have German Shorthair pointers. I have a 1 year old yellow lab, who I've worked with for duck but done nothing for upland, but decided she has some good instinct so let's give it a shot.
She did GREAT! Used her for flushing and she did an awesome job finding and flushing 4 birds in about an hour and a half. Very proud of her.
Over all had a great day, great place to work with your dog, and any day that I can shoot something is a good day!!
