If this is on the bank of a creek, I'd guess a small beaver - just trying to get a better look at the tail, but can't tell if it's round or flat.

I don't have the original anymore, so that's the best I can provide. It's on a creek bed that's dry most of the year. The pic was taken maybe a couple weeks after the creek dried up so maybe a small beaver? I thought it looked like one of the neighbor's chickens but they're locked up pretty tight. Whatever it is, he made off with it clean. hahaha

I put this one up on another thread yesterday. Took her a little ways from where the other picture was taken. Probably not the same dog, but I was taking the fight to them none the less

Ears are too big to be a beaver or a mink. Nose too long for a house cat, I think. So I'm going to guess either a fisher or a pine martin.
