Anyone going this weekend   :fishin:

As long as the weather holds up to be decent, I will be there Saturday :tup:

How far do you have to go for lings?

If I go, (weather dependent) we will be fishing the sunken jetty.

I don't know of any other areas close in to fish lings.......YET....... :chuckle:

The weatherman said rain this week end.  Not too sure about the coast. After I get the new motor on the Lady Becky ll I'll show you how to get lings off the jetty.

Picked up some of these  :tup:

Added a few different hook/jig combos to them and i cant wait to see how they work  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:
(jig heads and 5/0 worm hook)

But I do have to say I am a little disapopointed in the size. I expected them tobe a bit bigger or wider then what they are, but they have good movement and flexability.

When I go to westport for lings...I normally dive n spear for them...and get the crap beat out of me in the process...no such thing as calm enough to dive out there...lol   :bdid:   but Ive speared some nice lings!
