My sled is a good way to go as well, but for slipping into a marsh a kayak would be fun. :)
Still having a tough time buying another boat. I have 3 already, but this one would be cheap for up keep. :yike:

I have been wanting to check out the Hobie Kayaks.

Not cheap but I watched a young guy peddle, not paddle, one all day at Baker Lake and he did well on Sockeye. He had a fish finder on that thing as well. Might check prices at Western Canoe and Kayak in Abbotsford BC, just north of Bellingham. You don't have to pay sales tax and they are made in California so no duty. Also keep in mind that the price they quote is CN Dollars and they are at about a 20% discount to US Dollars. 604-853-9320
