Galaxy S5 and Droid turbo are both worth looking at (next month the S6 comes out). I have the Motorola Droid Maxx (latest Version) and I love it, best phone I've ever had! pictures and video are 10x better than my Apple 5s work phone and the battery just keeps on going!
My wife dropped her iPhone 6 and broke the screen 1 week into ownership. Fortunately her company gave her the wrong phone so she gave that one back and they handled it. I'll get a 6 one of these days. The 6+ is enormous. Not going that route. Battery life on the 6 is pretty awesome. She often goes into the 2nd day before recharging and that's fielding dozens of emails and text messages a day from work.
I'm afraid I can't help ya as I still rock an iPhone4. It's going on 5 years now and has been rock solid.
What a bunch wuzzies. I can't believe I am hearing this from men.Really? Here is the phone I carry.Carried it 20 plus years. My 3rd one. This is a mans phone, made to drop.

It's been bombproof. In the 4 years I've had it, it's been dropped a few dozen times. Once into the toilet, left it in the front yard for 2 days in December, takes a licking, keeps on ticking.

my 6+ dies in like an hour. I might need an update.
The 5c has a plastic chasis which may affect its durability as opposed to the metal found in my 5 or the 5s. But in any case with my new account I'll be eligible for an upgrade every 10 months so living with a cracked screen won't be the end of the world.. for too long.
I just checked this thread because the title said newd.
