Grouse Forecast

I saw a few of them driving down a FS road about 25 miles north of Aberdeen last weekend.

You saw grouse driving?  What were you on?

should  be a good year for grouse. Seen over 50 last week. I have been seeing more blues than ruffed.

I have been seeing lots of grouse...much higher numbers than I generally see this time of year.  I probably saw 25+ yesterday, not counting a group of at least 12.

I swear I am seeing dozens every time I go out.  Blue and Ruffed.

I have never seen so many grass hoppers at 7,000 feet. The chicks are eating real good this year.
