On our way toward Davenport in a couple hours. Sons first turkey hunt. Bought him a guided hunt with YJ guide service for his Birthday. ww will see how it goes.

Got this guy at 11:30 today.  Had two others come in on an earlier set but they did a little circle and ended up behind us at about 8 yards.  Couldn't get turned for a shot.  It was a 13 mile day by the time we got back to the truck.  This is Blake's first turkey.

Here is  his bird from this morning shot at 37 yards  he passed up four jakes before the Tom came in and passed them  up again as i called then back by us at twenty yards.  Worked a couple more,  but no more shot opportunities.
