Who is this guy with all the huge mule deer???
« on: January 06, 2009, 06:25:07 PM »
I see this fellow all over in hunting mags and the regulations and on HW. I don't need a life story, just curious about who and if all those big bucks come from this state.

LOL, Garrett is a nice guy but don't hold your breath on getting specifics.

All I wanted to know. Thanks guys. I don't want to know his spots, just that some of those bucks are indeed from Washington. I just kept seeing a face attached to these big bucks everywhere I turned. Especially in the WA regulations last year. It was just eating at the back of my brain after that pic popped up in the random photo.

Didnt mean specifics.  Meant that he might tell him that the deer came from Entiat on a permit.

That story is on here somewhere, or at least the abbreviated version.  Looking forward to meeting him officially one of these days.

His dad has drawn and killed 2 great bucks for a special draw unit, and Garrett has drawn once and taken a dandy, then the next year killed a dandy on a general tag.  They also hunt Montana and have killed some decent bucks over there as well.  You dont see him on here as much anymore as you used to, hes a geat guy.  James

I hear you, we were in Lewistown staying right accross the street from them for a couple days, but they were out hunting hard, I respect that, still would have been good to say hello.
