Does anyone know when the migratory bird regs come out? Specifically, I’m wondering when Dove season will kick-off this year since Sept 1st in on a Tuesday.

Probably Sept 1st to the 30th.

Yup, I know September 1st is the usual, if not always, start date. But I was just hoping they might bump it back to fall on the holiday weekend.

September 1st:
2012 Saturday
2013 Sunday
2014 Monday

If they stay with Tuesday as opening day, there will be lots of room in the fields!

I'm just hoping..
