That is my first choice tag, congrats! I was about 40 yards away from one today up there, it was a nice one! A pic of him is on my white river rut topic in the elk section.  Steep country

Hunted it with rack attack in 2012. Awesome hunt. I hope I draw that some day. Saw tons of goats. Brutally steep country.

So jealous, I got many yrs till I'm close for drawing that tag. See a lot of goats up in that steep country, should have no problem getting er done on a big boy. Congrats

Yes I have and that is why I bring up the .270 and I shoot a 7 mm when it is necessary when I rifle hunt, but the first choice is always my Hoyt Carbon Element :tup:

Great choice. That's what I used in 99 when I drew. Double lunged
A nice billy with federal 140 gr trophy bonded bear claw.  IMO there
Isn't a tougher animal to put down pound for pound then a Mtn goat.
Make sure you ankor him good on your first shot.  They have no
