I imagine there are a few snakes around the rocky areas down low but our camp has never seen any up high on the creek.

Mainly the snakes are along dry ridge (nile side of rattlesnake creek) and from the DNR/USFS border down.  The home owners down along the creek kill quite a few every year. You don't need to worry about them on yur hunt.
