Smoking whole chickens today final results

Went to meat market to see what sales they had going for the 4th and I got 2 whole chickens for under 10 bucks figure I try to smoke while chicken yesterday I got the whole chickens cleaned them up a lil and then I started mixing up a brown sugar rub Rub the whole chickens down with the brown sugar rub put in fridge overnite and I'm kind of thinking of wrapping bacon on the top of the chickens on the breast side to see how it goes I saw some threads of turkey bacon wrap figure I see how it turns out will keep updated

Did you rub under the skin?  I like to do that on mine to get more flavor into the meat

Did you rub under the skin?  I like to do that on mine to get more flavor into the meat

Oh no I didnt get that much in to it but next time I'll have to try that out

Looks good! I usually add a little home made herb butter and rub between the skin and meat... Also it's gonna sound crazy, but on some I'll mix up a orange soda (fanta) and curry mixture and inject my chickens.. Sounds crazy, but is suuuuuuper good if you like that middle eastern flavor palate.
