Which one I hunt the most or which one I harvest the most??

Spend the majority of the time looking for a whitetail, possibly a mule deer. But when all else fails I can usually tag a blacktail in the late seasons just big enough for roasts, sausage and jerky.
There is no greater respect to have for wildlife than to harvest an animal fairly and use it's flesh to feed your family.  ~me

I love muleys but I am an outlier here in Arizona. People are obsessed with the coues whitetail deer.

I hunt all three but spend the most time chasing blacktails just because it's closer to home.

Same here. I spend about a week chasing whitetails, but just by design of where I live, I spend the most time hunting blacktails.

I hear you there, same for me. But when I go it's with the intent of getting a Mule Buck, but who's gonna pass on a mature whitetail buck when the oppurtunity presents itself. Isn't it a blast hunting an area with both whitetail and mule deer? It just doesn't get any better if you ask me.

I'ts weird i have property in the chesaw area and when i don't tag out around there i will head over to the colville area for the late white tail hunt and the spot i usually go out there i always see nice muley bucks. It sure is frustrating having watch those big guys walk away everyday. :'(

SUPERDOWN- Very true, what sucks is Mule deer is only 8 days long! That's the thing I miss about archery you get the month of September to chase them around. Oh well, atleast we get to see them and enjoy them still.

I miss archery also i tore a muscle shooting too much and can't do it for the time being.I quit doing modern three years ago then i did archery for a couple of years got a doe then last year i did muzzy and got a little whitetail two point with eye guards and this year i am  going back to modern so i can use the recently acquired 1886 winchester 45-70 with peep sights. The one thing i think is weird is having to wear orange again. :chuckle:

I do blacktail because it is close to home.  I prefer the terrain for blacktail too; but really wish they weren't so nocturnal.  I did see one beast muley deerzilla last year in Oregon that has me wanting to go for mules again.
