I hit 55 at about 7 am when we hit the water and then when that stops working I drop to 75 and usually end up at 95 by 10 am.  I watch the fishfinder to see where I am consistently marking fish and adjust to that.

Looking at other posts, the summary is put your stuff in the water and you will likely catch fish.

Are you guys noticing your fish finders going on the blitz near shipwreck.  I would be trolling and then be reading 2 feet.  Might be sitting on bait or all the floating eel grass.  Wasn't sure other than it not working there.

This happened to me and I thought for sure it was my fishfinder.  I was coming up with all sorts of explanations.  Maybe there is sub under there and they don't like being seen.  :chuckle:  Seriously, I would go along fine and then it would read 2 ft deep.  I was reaching back and fiddling with the transducer but nothing helped.  I'm sort of relieved to hear that I'm not the only one with the problem.

I have found the bigger ones down around 100. The smaller ones are a lot shallower and more plentiful. Before my limit is filled I pick the speed up to see if there are any silvers around

What's been the good depth for most.  30-35' at first light than down to 45'-60'?  Coho at 120'?
120 was magic for us in the evening. Fishing for silvers and getting the pinks heavy.

A little slow today for us, but we managed two limits in about 4 hrs.  No coho this time, but some nice fighting pinks.  Seiners are at the shipwreck.  Looks like they are getting ready for an opening.  I wish people would learn how to drive a boat.  One guy almost rammed into us while he was texting on his phone.   :bash:

ship with big nets.  sets the net out in a line then connects the ends and hauls in everything it surrounded.

There were 15 of them at shipwreck yesterday pulling nets.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
