Put a scope on Knight Bighorn??

Has anyone put a scope on their Bighorn?  I am trying to find bases that fit it, but having a hard time.  I want the scope to use for working up the best load, will take it off once I get that figured out to get ready for the season.

I put some quick release scopes on mine. Ill have to see if I can remember the brand. Worked great. A lot like Leupolds.

  I need to know the part number for the bases, if you can find that I would really appreciate it.  No one is listing them for the BH and it's an odd spacing of the mounting holes.  1" in the back, 1/2" in front.  Even the ones Knight sells don't fit the BH.

I did that with my Ultra-Lite. It's a good way to test loads, and if you ever want to hunt a modern season with it you can use the scope.

  The 45S will fit the rear mounting holes, but not the fronts which are spaced closer together.

  I looked at the link you put up for Knight.  Yikes!!  9.99 for the set, but $27 for shipping.

The Big Horn uses the same bases as a Knight DISC or a Remington 541.

I really prefer the Warne Maxima M826/826m bases or the new Leupold QRW bases for the DISC or Rem 541.

That the mount front and back are the same Weaver 45, I measured wrong thinking they were different while trying to make it more difficult than it needed to be to mount the scope.

You’ll find that the scope and mounts will get crusted with powder fouling when you fire it.  Wrapping the scope with tape helps keep it to a minimum

I really would suggest that you get the lower all steel scope mounts versus the taller aluminum mounts.
