Plugged the boat yesterday with Kerry, plugged the boat with Ryan the week before and struck out at the WTC- weather at 50 miles out beat our butts!! Now I know I need a 30ft boat without doubt, come on two years or son - graduate early!!!!! Not sure the 23ft Wooldridge is up for the task quite yet, atleast til the water settles down a bit....
It is only still Aug!

A buddy was on a trip out of Westport last week and posted a picture of a yellowtail caught on their trip!

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when. No habitat = no game.

That was a great trip on Saturday, all of you Vet's were a fun bunch of guys. This checks off another one of my had to do things. Next season we should try and do a trip together again.

Jim if you got some of the group that would be cool to post. Or you can send me via email also. Looking to get the one of us holding them above the heads!
I keep looking at the Wooldridge and asking it to grow 5 to 6 ft... and to add a self bailing deck, add a bigger tank, add life raft, add more safety gear, add more electronics, add more fish holds, add a second 225hp motor and add a 50 gallon bait tank.... But it didn't happen! Maybe too safety minded, after the WTC this year and what it blew in, these items are really nice to have!

Welcome to the dark side
That WTC weather was nothing short of fun...not really. We got hammered to. Boat size really doesn't matter when 10-12' ers are breaking over the boat.
Highlight for me was getting a wounded warrior into his first albi on Fri. Good times. Next year

Looks awesome Mike! Gimme a ring when you get the new boat, I'll be there with you. Since going out on your boat I've been looking for one for myself. I need either another job or a lotto win to get a new one!
