I have several pictures of hard horned bucks already, but his beauty is still covered. One of the nicest bucks I have seen in our area.

Buck I shot on opener I saw in the morning was in velvet and looked like he would be in velvet possibly that week , but to my surprise he showed up that evening bare and dark horned.

He's already nocturnal and he's what, 3.5 or 4.5? I'd rarely count on a buck being around in 2-3 years in the NE.

Grizman, I bet if you have pictures of him from yesterday, he'll be peeled clean. It's crazy what happens the first two days of September to whitetail velvet.

I will be keeping an eye on him. Got pictures early this morning (3 Sep) and he is still full velvet. One small 4 point I saw this afternoon had red antlers due to him shedding velvet last night. Fun to keep track of what's going on. Game Cams were a great invention!!!
