Fish on.
« on: September 06, 2015, 06:13:17 PM »
Really hate hearing this crazy stereotype that rivers produce bad fish.
This year as been good to me.

Just gotta be there at the right time, I got so lucky with that king its not even funny, ran down river - went into fast water - wrapped herself around a bigass log in the water - shot left into a small pool, so basically my line made a giant L shape in the river around abuncha  stuff, I managed to work her out and she ran into open water and I sat in the small pool and let her get tired. Win win. Probably a good 10 minute fight, Thanks to the guy that was there with a net, There's no way I coulda banked it where I was.

You did a good job on the fillet. I'm still learning how to fillet.

Lol thanks guys, Just wanted to show that there ARE some nice fish in the rivers. All but 3 of those fish are kings, Two being jacks. The pinks Ive been getting this year are nickle chrome and meat is coming out red red red. That filet is from a pink this year.

I wet a line today.  Caught soo many pinks my arms are worn out.  Did get one nice 12 pound bright chrome king to take home.  I am not a big fan of pinks so those got released.
