Yes. But only parts of it but in the west I can hunt from sawtooth to the west. Which is where I planned on being anyway.

Well I thought I was ready to go at the drop of a hat but dang there is a lot of stuff to get in order before I leave, not to mention trying to find someone who can go with on such short notice. Maybe I should leave tomorrow instead of tonight.

Good decision to hold out. Good luck on the hunt.

Mxracer532, I think you are correct that the East is still closed, or at least mostly. The closure order makes the 3113 trail part of the northern boundary for the closed area and the trail is the divider between the East Wenaha and the Tucannon GMU's.  (The closure order boundary and the GMU boundaries are not exactly the same and there is a very small piece of the East Wenaha GMU that is now open.  The closure order uses the Wilderness boundaries and the GMU uses the roads around Misery Springs.)

My partner and I dropped into the wenaha to get my cameras. I think it was on Saturday, I bivyd out down there and came out on Sunday. I ran into coldsteel and his cousin/buddy as I was coming out.
He didn't have anything down at that point. Man that tag would of been a blast, must of been 7-10 raspy screamers in the bottom that night!
