Pheasant, Quail and Hun numbers are up and considering weather conditions, I'd guess this holds true for much of the state.
Last several years, we've had cloud bursts during nesting that have hurt the hatch. This year is good, just about anywhere you can find a draw with a spring that holds even a bit of moisture, you'll find birds. Predators are always an issue, but we are working on that.
