I thought he was a 5pt too, but he has a point in the 'V' of his whale tails on each side. The right side one is a little over an inch and the left one is a little over 2". So... I guess he barely makes 6pt status. His mass is so great at that juncture that it could add over 20" in score even with deductions. I need to have him scored officially to determine it all, tho. Some friends of mine "unofficially scored" him in the woods and as a 5pt he would be around 315" and as a 6pt around 335". Peters Taxidermy in Graham said it was a 6pt. I guess I'll just have to have him scored by a qualified scorer at the Sportsman's Show to know for sure. What do you guys think? I'll post another pic with my friend, Jon, holding his antlers.
