Would be nice to see you put a nice set of antlers on the ground.  Especially since Del, Lorraine and myself have failed to do so this year.  We are all in a BAD mood :chuckle:

I'm really hoping to put a mulie buck down around thanksgiving.  I'd like to kill something with some antlers this year.

I know what you mean!! Muzzleloader season is coming up and I'm gonna take my bow out to see if I can't get me a buck and my first bow kill with savora broadheads!! Good luck

If you guys have any kills using a Savora broadhead these past couple seasons I would love to use them if possible.  Thanks and post them if it's OK.

Not sure why everyone thinks this was my first bowkill but it wasn't. Had a deer the last two years. Both small does.

Opening day doe.  had to wait a whole 20 minutes for her to come in!   :yike: :dunno: :chuckle:  Savora Triple Sec LPS in purple.  Spined her and the blades were still perfect!   :yike:  put another through her lungs to seal the deal.  Any chance of a HPS blade in the future?  The LPS worked great, but that little bit more cutting diameter could be interesting?

My daughter has been hunting with me for 4 years now.  She's a heck of a good luck charm!

I doubt an HPS blade will be a reality in the near future.  Would be cool and likely a good head, but the solid blade market is very small.  Hard to give away a solid blade to whitetail hunters back east.

Looks like 1" is doing just fine for you, ML Bowhunting, D-Rock, CL, the Phelps crew, the Angry Squaw and a growing number of other western bowhunters.  Not going to say, "Never".  But I do not see it happening any time soon.

Congratulations on your success!  And thank you for posting your pic on this thread.

He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Yesterday's TiCon kill for my son.  Unfortunately, the one I shot fifteen minutes later from the same blind, was not recovered.   >:(   :'(

The recovered deer was a pass through at 10 yards with a crossbow (bolt still unaccounted for), the unrecovered one was a pass through, same distance, but I think the outgoing side went through the shoulder blade and did not fall out until the deer went about 20 yards.

Thanks Radsav for providing your second cousin twice removed (Zoltan) with the pointy end of his sticks....   :)

Just curious: How does one get to hunt with a cross bow in WA?

A modern tag hunter can hunt with one during modern seasons. Also, hunters with disabilities can request authorization to use them under certain conditions.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

I believe handicap hunters and hunters hunting in a firearm restricted area can use cross bows.
