Best small winch?
« on: October 10, 2015, 01:13:51 PM »
I am looking to purchase a small winch that is seperate from my truck. Hoping to be able to attach it to my ATV and boat as well.I saw this in BCHuntingMag and was wondering if anyone has used it before. Looks like something that would be really good for my boat and such, but on the website they also say it can be used to pull game. Has anyone seen this before?

KFI winches are pretty darn good. Better than most I'd say.

Lug-all, save yourself a thousand dollars and never have to worry if it will start.  I've had the same one in my trucks for forty+ years and still haven't been able to break it, wilderness living, on the farm, construction, hunting, it never failed me and I never had to call on help to get unstuck.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

The winch you posted here would work great if you use Mule Tape and you have a lot of it to pull game animals out of holes.  I have seen people pull deer with a larger role of mule tape.
