Wider FOV at 30X than the variable has at 20X, and the resolution is noticeably better too.
Absolutely worth it. If you think the variable eyepiece is great, this one has even better resolution and the reticle makes it so easy to call shots when we are setup rockchuck shooting. I suppose if your scopes were MRad that would be the way t go, but I went with MOA.
The reticle also makes it very easy to get others onto wildlife. I have three kids and that feature has come in handy, but even adults who are not experienced can have a herd of elk in a scope and still not see them. The reticle works wonders for that.
