In the process of. That'll be the first Captains job that's been open to outside agency applicants in a very long time.

So far two applicants for the Region 3 (Yakima) DFW Captain position.  Both are current DFW Sergeants.

I think it's time for the Director to step in and have the good old boy's club membership come to a screeching halt.

Region 2 Captain Chris Anderson is one of four final candidates for the Moses Lake PD Chief's job.

Anderson is a friend and supporter of Cenci, one of very few on the eastside. Losing Anderson would be a blow to Cenci, especially on the eastside.

Anderson is worthless, had a run in with one of his Sgt's last winter during a goose hunt with my kids......kinda feel sorry for the MLPD guys if he gets it but would be good to get rid of more dead weight....

Captain Chris Anderson has been appointed the interim Enforcement Chief for DFW by Director Unsworth.  The search for a permanent Chief will begin soon (or already has).  Please consider emailing the Director with the qualities you think the next Chief should possess.

Looks like Cenci is not losing Anderson, as he (Anderson) is going to be the interim chief.  A big sigh of relief for Cenci.....his protection is still intact.

I agree, but I don't think it's ever going to happen.  Unsworth doesn't seem to be much interested in making things right within enforcement, likely a result of a couple of commissioners who are major Cenci supporters.

Bob Weaver is the new Region 3 (Yakima) Captain. He most recently served as the Sergeant for Lewis and Cowlitz Counties. Prior to that nearly all of his time was as a field officer in Whitman County.

Should be a big improvement.....he's a good guy from what I understand.
