Superfeet Merino Wool Insoles
« on: October 13, 2015, 10:23:52 AM »
Has anyone used these or had any experience with them? I am in desperate need of good insoles. I bought a pair of Meindl Denali's and in general, I love the boot, but the insoles are awful. I've read a lot of good things about Superfeet Green insoles, but these peeked my interest.

Haven't tried these, but I have the super feet green insoles in every boot I own.

I have been using the green super feet insoles for year or so. I have been happy with the results.

I picked up a set of the green ones today, and I'm going to order a pair of the merino wool ones to try out. I'll let you know what I think.

:dunno:  I like comfy feet, or at least feet that hurt like hell after hiking to the top and back in a day.

I'm curious about this Asian girl though...

7mmFan does like em' short, those midget strippers at your birthday really knew how to party. Never would have guessed there was that kind of talent in Sultan.

Pretty sure that was my bachelor party. All the midget parties start to blend together once you hit 30 though.

Seems his post is gone ....
Yeah I thought that was weird so I just laughed it off ... But you have to remember you don't need super feet to road hunt from a truck or 4 wheeler   ;)

I noticed last year that they started marketing the SuperFeet merino in ski shops, and almost bought some for the new ski boots.  I held off, because I have been happy with the green I had in my old ski boots.  I don't use them in my Kennetreks, because the kennetrek version is so similar to the SuperFeet green.  I would like to hear what others have to say about the SuperFeet Merino as it would be nice to have that over the synthetic top cover.

They're on the way, I probably won't run them until elk season. I'll post my review.

What was the final result? I have the same boots, and while I like the boot and fit, I didn't find out until hunting conditions that they are killer on the balls of my feet. Looking for a solution.

I never did get the merino ones. I ran the Greens and after a full hunting season in them, the arch support was just to high for my feet. As it turns out, the super stiff sole on those Meindl's caused me to get a case of Achilles tendonitis, so I fell back to my Pronghorns since they were a more athletic/softer sole.

I still want to get a pair of the wool insoles, but since they're based on the green insole platform, I don't think they'll work for me. I believe Fisheral87 had good things to say about them.
