I'm staying west this year for the 1st time in a long time. Going to try something new and I'd like to kill a blacktail at some point in my life.
I'm looking forward to jungle-thick brush and hunting in a downpour.
 :yike:

Good luck! And thank you!

Thank you for staying west? No problem.
I've never been to your neighborhood hunting....maybe next year?

staying on the west side for deer this year.  all the old farts have gotten so uncoordinated about getting a deer camp together in asotin, that i don't know what the plan is until 2 weeks before the season opens.

i'll be hunting late muzzleloader this year on some(mostly) private property.  don't think i could handle modern rifle any more with all the permit areas and closures in recent years, that stuff is gonna be the death of hunting in this state.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

One of these days I will be an eastside headed west to try again to kill a blacktail buck.  Bucket list!  However, from my house I will be heading west tomorrow!  Just not crossing the PCT ...

Good luck! Hollar at me if you get one down in a hole..
Thanks!  May need some help :)
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I guess my answer is both (even though that wasn't an option :chuckle: ). I'm working tomorrow :bash: so I'll be hunting Westside Sunday. Then heading to the eastside Friday and staying until the end of muley season. If I still have an unnotched tag I'll spend the rest of Blacktail season hunting the Westside.

No mule deer hunting for me this year.   😢

Only blacktails. Which is fine, but I'd rather be hunting mule deer.

Gotta try to get my money's worth out of the $300 I gave to Weyerhaeuser.

Working until early Nov. so After/before work and days off I'll be doing some local hunting on the west side. If I still have a tag or my son still has a tag, we'll be heading to the NE corner for late whitetails. And if we still have a tag after that, we'll do the late blacktail season back on the coast.

So I'm doing both, but that choice wasn't available.

Hey fellas, thanks for pointing out that some of you will hunt both sides if you don't tag out in the first few days. I have added that as a selection in the poll. Good luck, give 'em hell, and stay safe!
