My Wyoming hunt trip (photo heavy)
« on: November 01, 2015, 12:41:07 PM »
My son and I were in Wyoming for an antelope hunt early this month. As always, being in Wyoming is a wonderful experience. Here are a few photos from our trip:

Oh give me a home, where the buffalo roam, where the deer and the antelope play.

Antelope images:

Deer images: I have not seen seen quantities of mule deer like this since the mid to late 60s in Okanogan. The whitetail are so abundant that landowners are essentially begging hunters to kill doe/fawn whitetails.

Scenic images:

Other critter images:. I have not seen quantities of turkeys like this before. The number of pheasants I saw exceeds what I used to see in the Basin 40 years ago.

Images you’re not likely to see in Washington.

Wyoming "Uber":

Historical society, with no history

A sign like this in a Seattle 7-11:

Liquor stores every block (not):

A “Watch for Wildlife” sign on I405 that really means it:

Speed limits like this:

Speed limit warning sign:

Rush hour in Wyoming:

Fun along the way.

Rock skipping in the Clark Fork River, Montana.

Visiting the RMEF Visitor Center in Missoula:

Seeing well deserved RMEF recognition for Washington's own Leonard Shotwell:

3400 miles, and a lifetime of adventure.

THE END. Only 11 ½ more months to go.

Very cool photos! Thank you for sharing!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.
