This sounds like just another day in any city in Eastern Washington.

"Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Sgt. Kim Chandler.~
~Chandler said coyotes are uncommon in Kirkland"

Im betting Chandler doesn't live in E King Co. I know of 2 coyote dens just NE of where this happened. There were also a few reports back in Jan about coyotes in the Kirkland, Bothell, Kenmore area snatching pets.

I used to try and call the coyotes behind the winery.  None would come out to play.

Jackelopes have been know to roam that area.  I think with them around you won't have to worry about coyotes.

Ive got at least 6 or 7 different cougars that cruise through my yard on a pretty regular basis, plus a handful of bears.  The coyotes here are the least of my worries, and i have no problem going outside.  Of course i slways have a gun on my hip like a smart person.

I saw the piece q13 did on this.  I was laughing out loud. I am rooting for more coyotes that look like wolves in Kirkland and other puget sound suburbs!

 :yeah:

Its a coyote but it would be so damn sweet if it was actually a wolf!
