Coming out of the upper 1900's on Sunday decided to cruz up fifes on the 1920 to take a look around. We had one cow in the truck but still had a tag to fill so thought what the heck, havn't been on the ridge for a few years.
Get up the ridge and see a smoldering fire in a camp. Ok they obviously just left, but Im thinking common guys, smoke means fire. We drive by but something doesn't sit right with me.
We turn around and drive into the camp. Get out and the smoldering fire is now sparking and gaining energy. And its not in the fire pit...

We use the last of our water and a couple Propels to knock it down. Obviously someone neglected to do a secondary check before leaving or just assumed the weather would put it out.
So we took care of your fire for you. And congrats on the two bulls you killed, based on the carcasses that where scattered all over the place.
Oh and I would of picked up all the trash you left behind but I didn't have room to haul it home, truck was loaded with elk camp...
But Im sure your heading back to pick it up
