My Grandson Ryan shot his first Deer last Saturday. One shot from his .270 did the job. He's pretty happy and off to a good start!! I'm very Proud!!

Thanks Guys. I will be showing my grandson all the neat replies. Right after I got to him, I shook his hand, patted him on the back, and told him he could very possibly hunt for another fifty years trying to get one as nice as this!! I have 55 years hunting in North ID and NE Wa and only have one or two as nice as his Very first one!!!! Mountain Whitetails on public land like the one he got are far and few between😁
He was excited, but probably not any more so than his dad and I. We have hunted together for nearly 20 years and know well the fickle nature of hunting!!
