Book Cliffs elk
« on: November 13, 2015, 03:15:10 PM »
Just back from my long awaited Book Cliffs elk hunt.  Took 15 years to draw.  The hunt was complicated by some bad winter weather that moved many of the elk down and made getting around much more difficult.   Didn't get the monster that the unit can produce, but still my biggest bull ever and I'm thrilled.

If anyone else on the forum ever draws the tag, I'm glad to give specific information.

Beautiful Bull!
People get offended at nothing at all. So, speak your mind and be unapologetic.

Congrats on the bull.  We had the same thing happen to us there last year on a deer hunt when a major storm came through.  Totally shutdown access on almost all roads.

Nice Bull!
How many points did you have when you drew? I currently have 15 Utah elk points.
Congrats!  :)
