best food on pellet grill
« on: November 17, 2015, 02:29:49 PM »
I have made alot of different things on my green mountain grill but my favorite is the ribs. Pretty much use the 3-2-1 method but typically smoke for about 4 hours and then wrap in foil. What is your favorite food and do you mind sharing your recipe?

Its a tie for me between Ribs and a Traeger recipe for pork burgers....Its hard to go back to regular beef burgers after these, they are INCREDIBLE!!!

2lbs ground pork
1cup grated cheddar cheese(Tillamook is the only cheddar i'll buy ;)~)
2-3 Tbls. BBQ sauce
2 Tbls. grated onion(optional)
1 Tbls. of your favorite rub
sprinkle or two of bread crumbs
couple good splashes of Worchester

Mix all ingredients together and form into patties. Smoke for 30-60 minutes.
Increase temp to 300 and grill until probe temp hits 160. about 45 minutes.
Turn burgers halfway thru cooking time.  let stand for 2 minutes then enjoy.

Ice!

Take ice cubes, put them in an aluminium tray. Smoke til they melt. Pour back into ice trays and refreeze. Makes an ICREDIBLE bloody mary.
