I've never met plat, but after some Private messages with him I do respect his beliefs on tribal hunting.  If the tribes had the respect that plat has for the animals and their hunting rights the hunting world would be a better place. I know he understands the frustrations non natives feel about tribal hunting, he's been trying to get the attitudes of the elders changed for a while.  So, I hope he doesn't take this the wrong way,  I also have no interest in looking at any game taken by the normal tribal hunts.  Call me what you will but tribal hunting rights are just wrong.  Anyone of us could kill big Bulls, deer or whatever if we had the right to hunt like the tribes.  That is why some on here just don't care about tribal kills, me included.  Now plat hunts a way that I can truley respect considering what he could be doing, having the rights like he does and not exploiting them, very respectful.  That's my two cents!

Yes natives have different seasons with more opportunity. Of course youth and seniors have different seasons with more opportunity.  disabled hunters, master hunters, raffle winners, auction winners, lots of others with special privileges. Not to mention they divide the state for elk, west side hunters can shoot big Bulls, eastside hunters are limited to spikes.. So what if natives get special privelages it is their right. And yes their are those that abuse it but there are also a ton of non natives poaching and abusing the system as well.

Thank you, that's a much better answer.   If you can find them on the east side in 130/124 you can take any elk. Which is pretty neat. But I guess your options are limited seeing as they are very very elusive around those parts. I'll see how this year goes on the east side then venture out west

Non-natives can't shoot wolves, no one complained about same rules for everybody then!!
