Jakelands 2015/16 cat line

Finally got a few traps out on Saturday I only got 3 out but in good areas up high in deep snow

    We'll see what tomorrow night brings!

Got a late start and had to check them by headlamp and snowshoes a nice female and she broke the triggers so I pulled this trap to fix

 And of course the truck pic

Getting off early today! I fixed the trap and skinned the cat last night so I'll be heading up to set 4 more traps on snowshoes and a frame pack

    .22 short either right through the ears or if they won't cooperate I will go between the eyes and get it to go down their neck so there's no exit hole the .22 shorts I get are the low velocity I think 720 fps

Ended getting off work late and didn't get up there until way after dark had some things come up this week and wouldn't be able to check them plus nothing hitting the cages except weasels they are just stripping the bait from me so I pulled them and I'll start a new drainage in a different area on Friday
