What do they mean by a gunshow or online loophole?  How do you buy a gun online and not go thru a FFL and a background check?   :dunno:
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

It's easy, when you buy a gun online, it simply gets shipped to your house.

I know that was sarcasm. Just took me 18 days to receive a long gun that was in stock. My first and last online gun purchase!

If they aren't shipping it across state lines that would be legal, I believe. Except in states like Washington since I594 was passed.

Yep, according to those that give Obama all his information, like the Director of the FBI Jim Comey!

If the FBI Director believes this, it's no wonder the entire Obama administration does.

Sounds like January should be a strong month for gun companies and their retailers.

So far it is just predicting some background checks, but I shudder to think what all will be in the actual details.  So, think the word registry will be in it?
And here we are on New Year's Eve, and I bet there will be a few shootings/killings by criminals at house parties in S Seattle tonight.  And all will have circumvented I594, to show how worthless that law is.

He's an idiot. We already have new gun laws that aren't enforced. It's not the gun laws or guns, it's the friggin' nut jobs in this world who do these horrible things, with a gun as their tool....

Someday it will come out that the Obama's own a ton of gun manufacturer stocks.  There is no other reason he constantly chooses to run down the path that results in exactly the opposite result as he claims to be seeking.

He really has few options, step one could maybe be making sure the background system works and all the info is in there before you jump onto the next half-baked idea.

I truly think he is swinging for the fence trying to establish some type of legacy other than Obamacare and ISIS.  8 years and fortunately he got about zero done outside that.

 :yeah:
So....if it's the "nut jobs in the world doing these horrible things", we shouldn't have any "more laws" or resources to keep guns out of their hands?!? Congress sure as heck isn't going to do anything in that regard. They know where their money comes from and anything less than declaring he's trying to take our guns away, trampling our 2nd amendment rights will put them on the NRA's "unfriend" (yes I made that up) list.
this is probably a great time to buy firearms stock. I expect another fear-filled run on guns and ammo just like 4 & 8 years ago when everyone was expecting to have our guns taken away.

Congress, his Highness Obama, God, the Feds etc, can't do squat about people, who want to do harm to others. You can have all the, NEW, laws put into place and guns will still get into the "nut jobs hands ". The government has zero idea how many guns are in this country for one thing, new laws won't help a soul. Kinda sad, but, what can you do, except start cracking down on criminals, instead letting them out of jail/prison. How many bad guys got let out recently from a government computer error, 3,200 ish ? That was just Washington, wasn't it ?

Umm... It was only an average of 7 weeks early. I don't think that's going to make a significant difference in gun violence in this state.

What was an average of 7 weeks early ? If you mean prisoners, average doesn't really mean anything, 3,200 got released over the amount of time.

Yes, the news article said the average was 49 days that each prisoner got out early.

But I agree with what you're saying. People who have ever been convicted of firearm violence, should be in for life.

It already did. 1 of the guys released early shot and killed a 17 year old kid in Spokane. Seems significant to me!
